Despite Strong Fight, Spartans JV Fall to Kell

Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity fought back after falling down by six runs in the second inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 7-6 defeat to Kell on Wednesday. Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity scored six runs in the failed comeback on a single by Kyle Brubacher in the second, a single by Owen Wright in the fifth, a single by Aiden Daly in the fifth, a single by Campbell Sisom in the fifth, a single by Brendon Kraus in the fifth, and a single by Wright in the sixth.
Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity put up four runs in the fifth inning. Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity big bats were led by Wright, Daly, Sisom, and Kraus, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Wright toed the rubber for Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity. He surrendered six runs on six hits over two innings, striking out three and walking zero. Daly, Brubacher, and Palmer Akali each contributed in relief for Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity.
Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity tallied ten hits in the game. Wright, Daly, Kraus, and Sisom all had multiple hits for Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity. Wright led Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity with three hits in four at bats.
