The Spartan JV Squad grabbed a home against the Hiram Hornets in Saturday at legendary Lattanzi Field at the Spartan Baseball Complex.

The Spartans got on the board in the first inning when Kyle Brubacher drew a walk, scoring one run.

Freshman Michael Herrmann toed the rubber for the Spartans and had a solid outing allowing five hits over five shoutout innings, striking out six and walking one.

The Spartans tallied nine hits. Herrmann and Brubacher each having two to lead the Spartans at the plate while Aiden Daly led the way on the base paths with two of the eight stolen bases on the day racked up by the guys in royal blue.
