The Spartan JV Squad cruised to an easy victory over South Cobb JV 25-1 on Thursday.

The Spartans notched 12 runs in the second inning. Trey Anagnostis, Aiden Daly, Taylor Daxe, Kyle Brubacher, George Lester, and Andrew Herrmann powered the big inning with RBIs.

Lester pitched Campbell Spartans Junior Varsity to victory. He went one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Jake Lavender threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Good Guys racked up 11 hits on the day. Brubacher (3-3) and Lester (2-3) collected multiple hits.

The Spartan defense was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Anagnostis had the most chances in the field with five.

The Spartan JV Squad takes on Westlake in a doubleheader this Saturday, 3/24, with first pitch at 12 noon.
